The savannah is full of interesting and fascinating animals and this file folder game will surely be a fun way to get to know some of them a little bit better.
Printable Savannah Animals File Folder Game for Kids
On the first page, there is a lovely image of Savannah with 10 blank squares on it. The second page includes 10 different cards of Savannah animals and 10 name cards.
Cut out all of the squares from the second page and laminate them to make them last longer so kids can use them over and over again.
There is a zebra, a lion, an eagle, an antelope, a giraffe, an elephant, an ostrich, a rhinoceros, a termite and a lizard.
Kids will have to observe the environment on each card, to find out where they fit best in the Savannah habitat.
Solving this kind of puzzles is great for gross and fine motor skills as well as the observation skills.
This way young learners will have a fun time finding out what kind of different animals live in this vast land and where their habitat is.
A cool idea is also to play a matching game. Simply mix the 10 animal cards with the name cards and let your kid match the pairs.
You can also practice the names of the animals by showing them the name cards (or the cards with animals) – encourage your kids to show you the accurate image (or the name card) of that animal and enjoy learning together!
