Match up Those Pairs
One of the games I loved the most as a kid was Memory. I couldn’t get enough of it and even today I love to play a match (or ten).
This game is not only fun to play but is also great for the little brains. The more they play it the better their concentration and short term memory gets and the time to find matches becomes shorter and shorter. It’s one of those games where you can really see how your child progresses.
I’ve made a Valentine’s Day themed printable memory card game for this purpose.
By the way memory card games shouldn’t be reserved just for kids. I’ve recently read an article about how we take to little time to exercise our adult brains and as they stagnate they age, sometimes even faster than our body (yikes!) and the easiest and most fun way to get your brains in shape is to play card matching games such as memory – so be quick and download and print this freebie for yourself too ;).

I’ve made front and back side for the memory cards (back side is optional but I think it’s cute).
As kids get more skilled (and older) they will need more pairs to match up so I’ll be making all of my memory games compatible in size and you can just print additional tiles in the future.
